Unique choral techniques for modern music

The Eric Whitacre Contrast plugin from Spitfire Audio is an advanced choral sample library developed in collaboration with Grammy award-winning composer Eric Whitacre. This exceptional collection features 245 contemporary choral techniques recorded by 19 world-class singers at the renowned AIR Studios. The library is characterized by its two contrasting timbres, "Light" and "Dark", which create completely different sounds through subtle changes in vocal coloration. These sounds can be combined in the innovative Evo Grid technology to create dynamic, multi-layered textures that are perfect for modern compositions.

The plugin also includes the powerful eDNA synth engine, which brings these choral performances into the electronic spectrum, providing 24 warps and 92 synth presets. These have been developed from organic material and offer an immense range of creative sound design possibilities. Advanced features include extensive effect options such as reverb, tape saturation and granular FX, which can be controlled via two independent sound bays. A highlight is the random function "Feeling Lucky", which supports spontaneous creative ideas and offers new inspiration.
