Smooth sound with felt pedal

The Spitfire Audio Originals Felt Piano is a high-quality virtual instrument that delivers a detailed and soft piano sound. With its special sound characteristics created by the use of the Celeste pedal - a felt layer between the hammer and strings - this piano offers a unique, delicate sound quality. The instrument was recorded by renowned jazz musician Gwilym Simcock at Spitfire Studios in London, guaranteeing excellent recording quality and authentic sound reproduction.

The plugin includes three different microphone signals: condenser, ribbon and hammers, which can be individually adjusted to create different sound textures. In addition, seven predefined presets are available, which can be loaded quickly and easily for a wide range of musical applications. Thanks to the integrated ADSR control, attack, decay, Sustain and Release can be adjusted in a versatile way, allowing precise control over the playing feel.

Another highlight is the dynamic range compression, which shapes the sound in a subtle way and ensures a balanced sound image. MIDI assignments can also be adjusted to suit your own preferences.

At around 3 GB, the Felt Piano requires little storage space and is available as a standalone plugin for VST, AU and AAX, so no additional software such as Kontakt is required. Designed for both Mac and Windows users, the plugin can be downloaded and installed via the Spitfire Audio app and supports all common DAWs.
