The first Apollo interface quickly became the standard interface among modern music producers and sound engineers who recorded hundreds of hits. The Apollo 16 continues to raise the studio standard with it’s completely newly developed industry-leading A/D and D /A converters. It offers 2dB more dynamic range for A/D conversion and even 8 dB more for D/A conversion than the original Apollo. The converters were tuned following really high standards and the sound quality of the Apollo 16 MkII is extremely high.

The Apollo 16 MkII is the ideal interface for professional recording studios. It offers 16x16 analogue I/O on DB-25 ports - twice the number of connections compared to the Apollo 8/8p models plus additional L/R monitor outputs and AES/EBU digital I/O. The Apollo 16 MkII is ideal for connection to mixing consoles or other outboard processors.
