The Eurolive models are Behringer a very compact, lightweight loudspeaker series that offers professional features and outstanding performance at a very good price/performance ratio. Compared to the smaller model B208D , it B210D is equipped with a 10" long excursion bass driver and has a 30 % larger diaphragm area for a more powerful bass reproduction. A 1.35" aluminium tweeter driver ensures good sound in the upper frequency range. The loudspeakers are driven by two Class-D power amplifiers, which together deliver a peak power of 200 W. The loudspeakers are equipped with a Class-D amplifier. An active crossover avoids phase problems between the speakers. The modern power amplifier concept, which thanks to the SMPS switched-mode power supply can do without large transformers and complex cooling even at enormous outputs, enables the surprisingly low weight of only 8.7 kg per system.
The adjustable input with jack and XLR socket has an extremely low-noise preamplifier, which also allows the direct connection of a microphone. Further Eurolive systems can be supplied via the parallel XLR output socket. An integrated sound processor with dynamic equalizer and a 2-band EQ that intervenes at 80 Hz and 12 kHz with +/- 15 dB each, ensure sound optimization in different spatial conditions. A limiter circuit protects the loudspeakers from dangerous transients and overloads, even at limit power levels.
Thanks to the 35 mm stand flange and the angled side walls, it Behringer B210D is suitable both for FOH applications and for use as an active monitor.
