The Drumazon is a Drummachine-Plugin of the TR-909 w D16 Group hich is characterized by its almost perfect emulation of the classic Roland TR-909. The instruments are synthesized in exactly the same way as the original so that every nuance of the classic is captured exactly. In addition to the control units of the 909, Drumazon offers extended functionalities that allow an even deeper intervention into the sound. Preset browser, 11 outputs and an extended MIDI control give this 909 emulation the capabilities that the Roland device of the 80s didn't have.
The Drumazon Drummachine offers flexible output possibilities. Each instrument signal can be routed to one of the eleven outputs. This allows the user to further refine the sound of your drums in external plugins. Each output can be set to mono or stereo and switched off with mute or solo buttons. Thanks to the extensive MIDI control, you can import MIDI notes that trigger the drumazon's sounds instead of the programmable steps. Alternatively, the Internal Sequencer can be used, which can be synchronized according to the host application or an internal clock. 8 banks store the drum patterns in the internal sequencer. Each bank can store up to 12 patterns, each pattern consisting of 16 steps. The patterns can be edited very traditionally as with the 909 with the step buttons, or with a tap function. In addition, the internal sequencer has several operation modes, for example chain mode, in which a series of patterns are retrieved from the internal banks and played in an infinite loop. Alternatively, you can also trigger the patterns via a MIDInote, i.e. with the help of an external controller. When your creative juices come to a standstill, a random generator mode can change either entire patterns, or just individual parameters for you, until new, unexpected ideas sprout.
Exported patterns are stored in .xml files, making them human readable, easy to archive and export or import. The setting parameters can also be saved and recalled via a preset manager, so no perfect setting is ever lost.
