EMG-60 BLACK - The EMG-60 features the close aperture coils loaded with alnico magnets instead of ceramic, giving it warmer and fuller sound. This pickup still packs plenty of output with both clarity and cut through high end. The EMG-60 is incredible for rhythm guitar and sets any player apart in the mix of a band that pumps a lot of mid-range from the stage.

Amazing neck pup

I use this in a Gibson Les Paul Studio with an EMG 85 in the bridge.
The fact is that the strong treble of the 60 really counteracts the dark character of the guitar. It creates a chimey/ creamy tone. Amazing for lead guitar!!
