With the ESP LTD MSV-1 Olympic White, the Tokyo-based company creates a signature electric guitar in the aggressive Arrow style for Mike Schleibaum, founder and riff master of the American melodic death institution Darkest Hour.
Mike Schleibaum chose a classic neck-through construction as the basis for the LTD MSV-1, which promises powerful sounds and extremely agile playing characteristics. Accordingly, the heart of the electric guitar is the full-length three-piece mahogany neck, which is complemented by body wings made of mahogany and a maple top. The slim Thin U neck profile and the flat Macassar ebony fingerboard with stainless steel frets make every tricky riff or solo come off with ease.
For the adequate metal sound, the ESP LTD MSV-1 Olympic White is equipped with an active EMG JH humbucker, whose tight response and sharp midrange focus let every note whip out of the guitar amp precisely and powerfully, even at the lowest tunings and maximum gain. In addition, a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double locking tremolo for detune-free dive bombs and squeals completes the LTD MSV-1 guitar from ESP.
