With the Fender Bassman series, inspired by the legendary Bassman amplifier, Fender is launching a pedal series that is aimed specifically at bassists and has some useful features for representatives of the low-frequency fraction. The Fender Bassman Fuzz, for example, provides a fuzz sound that is specially tuned to lower frequency ranges and leaves nothing to be desired, from classically compressed vintage fuzz to modern and responsive fuzz sounds. As an absolute special feature, the three switching positions of the Focus switch provide three selectable frequency ranges in which the fuzz effect operates. As a result, the Fender Bassman Fuzz not only develops a particularly versatile sound, but also a spectrum adapted to 4-, 5- or even 6-string basses.
