Single-coil pickups for guitars from Fender

With the Fender Jason Isbell Telecaster Pickup Set, Fender offers a pickup set specially tailored to the tonal preferences of US musician and Grammy winner Jason Isbell. Developed by none other than pickup guru Tim Shaw, the pickups skillfully capture the raw punch of classic Sixties Teles and are easily capable of covering a wide range of sounds, from expressive cleans with unmistakable twang and sparkle to powerful Southern rock sounds. To achieve this, the Set uses classic Alnico V magnets for both pickups, Formvar winding wire for the neck position and Plain Enamel Wire for the bridge pickup. In addition, the coils are waxed to prevent unwanted microphonics.
