The neck and fretboard are made in one piece and, with a classic '57-style Soft-V back profile and 9.5" fretboard radius, offer the best of classic vintage feel and modern playability across all 21 narrow-tall frets. The basic construction of the Limited Edition 1957 Stratocaster is completed by a two-piece body made from selected alder with a classic four-way bolt-on joint.
Hand-wound Fender Fat '50s single coils
The Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound Fat '50s Single Coils in the neck, middle and bridge position are embedded in the anodized aluminum pickguard and not only provide all the classic sound options of the Stratocaster, but also give them additional assertiveness with present mids, tight basses and clearly resolving highs. Thanks to proven Fat '50s Wiring, the loss of treble when the volume knob is turned down is reduced compared to conventional Strat circuits, so that the full spectrum can always be heard at all volume settings.
