For the neck and body construction of the Fender Standard Jaguar Bass, Fender uses the proven combination of maple and ash, while the fingerboard is made of the extremely hard Pau Ferro(Libidibia ferrea), which is also known as Brazilian ironwood and convinces with its chic look. The "Modern C" profile of the screwed neck also supports the extremely smooth playability of the four-string.
The PJ pickup setup, in combination with the traditional passive circuitry, provides versatile sounds.

The Fender Standard Jaguar Bass Pau Ferro Fretboard Olympic White uses a Fender Standard Single Coil on the bridge and a Fender Standard Split Coil in the middle position as pickups, combining the best features of Jazz and Preciosn Bass on the amplifier. The spectrum ranges from the typical middle roll, which is perfect for driving rock grooves, to the transparent, extremely assertive sound. The pickups are managed using classic passive electronics with two volume and one tone controls.

In addition, the Fender standard Jaguar bass offers indestructible hardware equipment in the classic, functional vintage style. On the body with the Fender Vintage 4-Saddle bridge sits the traditional "Bleckwinkel", which guarantees a perfect adjustment of intonation and string position with four string riders. From here, the strings with a 34" scale length (864 mm) are guided towards the headstock, on which open Fender tuners ensure an exact tuning.
