With the Fulltone Full-Drive2 V2, Michael Fuller presents a revised version of his popular effect pedal, which offers an extended sound variety and pedalboard-friendly dimensions. Accordingly, the effect pedal has two drive channels, the distortion intensity of which can be precisely adjusted using its own gain controls. In addition, the second channel has its own volume potentiometer. Another special feature of the Fulltone Full-Drive2 V2 is its different sound and clipping modes, which can be used to recall a wide variety of sounds. The three-stage "CC/VIN/FM" switch switches between the computer cut mode, which promises an uncompressed clean boost without clipping diodes, the vintage mode with fully present mid-range and the flat mids mode, in which parts of the mid-range are thinned out for a wide, full sound. In addition, the "WIDE/HC/STD" switch can be used to switch between the standard mode, which delivers the classic full drive sound of the 1990s, the half-clipped mode with a tight bass foundation and singing distortions in the treble, or the wide mode, in which a unique circuit consisting of MOSFET and Schottky elements guarantees a barely compressed, bass rich sound.
