The Gemini GMX is a 2-deck DJ mixing console that combines a MIDI controller and USB media player. Whether used as a software controller or as a stand-alone unit, the Gemini GMX is the ideal companion for mobile use, thanks to its integrated 24-bit audio interface and XLR outputs. The traditionally designed mixer section features a 3-band EQ, a bi-polar filter, and a gain control per channel. This allows for the convenient mixing of MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF music files directly from a USB flash drive. In MIDI mode, the Gemini GMX can be used to control either the included Virtual DJ LE software or any other MIDI-compatible application on a computer. Each deck is equipped with 8 illuminated performance pads for triggering custom hot cues or setting auto loops. Large, touch-sensitive jog wheels provide precise track control, including scratch effects, backspins, and pitch bending. The high-contrast LCD displays deliver all essential track information, including waveform visualisation.
I Used it last Sunday at a party. The sound was good. Easy to use as a standalone mixer. I find the transpose/ pitch lock very useful in my home studio setup. Gr8 product.
