GIBSON ES-339 Faded Cherry

Built by the Gibson Memphis Division, the Gibson ES-339 Faded Cherry convinces with high playing comfort and excellent sound. The traditionally designed Gibson ES-339 has a maple/poplar laminate body and a solid center block.
Compact semi-acoustic body with high playing comfort
The body of the Gibson ES-339 follows the design of the Gibson ES-335, but due to its compact dimensions it is much more comfortable for the player and thus offers perfect handling. The traditional construction with three-layer maple/poplar laminate and solid center block provides the typical semi-hollow sound, which combines the warm resonance of an acoustic guitar with the feedback insensitivity of the electric guitar. Furthermore, the glued Mahaogni neck with "Traditional C" profile offers a high playing comfort for classic licks and riffs.
Gibson Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 humbuckers deliver versatile vintage sounds between jazz, blues and rock.
Classic sound thanks to Burstbucker pickups
The electric tone conversion of the Gibson ES-339 Faded Cherry is done by a Gibson Burstbucker 1 on the neck and a Gibson Burstbucker 2 on the bridge, two of the most popular humbuckers in the Gibson range. With warm vintage sound and airy response in the best PAF tradition, these pickups are equally suitable for clean jazz lines, bluesy licks with gently breaking overdrive and juicy rock riffs with harmonic distortion. Using the proven circuit with individual volume and tone controls, the sound character can be precisely adjusted.
The ABR-1 bridge has titanium tailpieces, while the Stopbar tailpiece is lockable on the bolds.
High-quality hardware between modern and vintage
The perfectly matched hardware of the Gibson ES-339 Faded Cherry bridges the gap between modernity and historical correctness. The strings are guided over a Gibson ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge by the Locking Stopbar, which can be locked on its bolts. The titanium string riders promote an even resonance development with long sustain and a radiant high frequency spectrum. At the headstock you will find strings on classic Grover Milk Bottle Rotomatic tuners, which convince with authentic vintage look and reliable functionality.
