The Ibanez GRG7221-BKN is a 7-string electric guitar released as part of the 2013 Ibanez catalogue. It is the first time a model of this type has been available in the manufacturer’s most affordable product line, the GRG range.
The instrument features a GRG neck, poplar body, fixed 7 bridge and STD 7 pickups, and is a fantastic choice for a player looking for an entry-level 7-string. With simple single volume and tone controls, a slim neck profile and high output pickups, the Ibanez GRG7221-BKN combines great, playable feel with a solid rock and metal tone.
The incredible value offered by this guitar make it a no-brainer for players new to low-B territory, and anyone thinking about investing in a 7-string is strongly advised to check one out.

Ibanez did a great job for this price. Nevertheless, a lot of small details shows the lack of care building the guitar. On 5th fret there is the fret marker but on the top of the neck, the small dot is not centered and it is so close from the fretboard that the small dot is on the fretboard..... what a pity. All the frets are ok except the one on the 10th fret where you see that the metal fret is not completed. meaning it is missing about 1 millimeter of metal there!!!! but again for this price what can you do... for the ones that are expecting a total black guitar... it is not plain black and have a lot of paillettes.... which ruins a little bit the Dark side of the guitar.
