The Ibanez JS140 6-String Electric Guitar in White is the most recent 24-fret signature model to be granted to guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani.
The Ibanez JS140 features a lightweight, incredibly ergonomic S-shaped Basswood body that is joined by one-piece JS Maple neck. The neck is topped by a Rosewood fingerboard that is fitted with 24 medium frets and White dot inlays.
The body is equipped with a pair of humbucker pickups, an Infinity RD single coil-sized model at the neck and a Quantum model in the bridge position. The pickups are joined by a 3-way pickup selector toggle switch, a master volume control and a coil-tapped master tone control. Joining the pickup and control selection is a double locking Edge-Zero II tremolo that allows for a wide range of pitch variations to be easily achieved without effecting tuning stability.
