Signature electric guitar with Monkeypod top and Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups, including case
The Ibanez Tom Quayle TQM1-NT Natural is the signature electric guitar of the British Fusion high-flyer with optimal playing characteristics and a broad sound spectrum. Based on the popular AZ model, this electric guitar features an alder body with a stylish Monkey Pod top and a bolt-on S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple neck. Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups and the dyna-MIX9 circuit deliver particularly versatile sounds to the guitar amplifier, which also meet the highest demands in articulation and dynamics. Of course, the Ibanez TQM1 also features the Gotoh T1802 Vibrato and Gotoh Locking Tuners.

Optimum playing characteristics and high-quality woods
For the construction of his Ibanez TQM1, Tom Quayle chose a classic alder body, whose monkeypod top exudes an elegant and exotic flair. The screwed neck is made of thermally treated maple in the form of S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple, which is not only insensitive to climate changes, but also contributes to a lively and appealing sound. The smooth-running "TQM" neck profile and the flowing "Super All Access Neck Joint" provide optimum playing characteristics up to the 22nd stainless steel fret, whereby fluorescent Luminlays Side Dots enable precise navigation on the fretboard even in poor lighting conditions.
Seymour Duncan Hyperion Pickups
Tom Quayle TQM1-NT Natural Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups are used as pickups on the Ibanez, which cause a sensation in fusion circles. Equipped with Alnico V magnets and a discreetly increased output, both the Hyperion single coils at neck and middle position and the Hyperion humbucker placed on the bridge convince with a finely balanced reproduction of all frequency ranges, whereby the agile dynamics easily follows the expression and style of the player and thus allows an optimal control of the sound. The pickups are managed using a 5-way switch and general volume and tone controls. The "Alter" switch and the dyna-MIX9 circuit allow different combinations of pickup coils to be selected, significantly expanding the sound spectrum.

Indestructible Gotoh Hardware
The Ibanez Tom Quayle TQM1-NT Natural is rounded off by high-quality hardware from Gotoh. The Gotoh T1802 Tremolo, developed jointly with Ibanez, serves as a bridge. Thanks to its 2-point suspension, it offers particularly smooth handling. With the combination of stainless steel base plate and titanium string riders, it also contributes to the balanced sound of the electric guitar, while 10.5 mm string spacing supports different playing techniques. Behind the bone nut, Gotoh Magnum Lock H.A.P. clamping tuners on the headstock ensure precise and stable tuning even when frequently reaching for the vibrato lever. The height-adjustable winding axles also guarantee optimum contact pressure of each string on the saddle.
