Mark II version of the popular Line 6 DL4 Delay effect pedal
With the DL4 MkII, the American modelling specialists bring the next generation of the extremely popular Delay stompbox into the race. While the proven, intuitive control concept with five knobs and four footswitches has been retained, the 15 classic DL4 effect algorithms are supplemented by 15 modern, highly detailed delay interpretations from the HX family. furthermore, the DL4 MkII effect pedal offers an integrated Looper and extensive connections for use on stage and in the recording studio.
Extensive effects library
At the heart of the Mark II version of the Line 6 DL4 Delay Stombox Modeler are a total of 30 delay algorithms that leave no sound wish unfulfilled. Fifteen algorithms from the Line 6 Helix line-up promise particularly detailed echo effects, ranging from traditional timbres to experimental ambient sounds. In addition, the 15 popular algorithms of the first DL4 pedal are available. furthermore, the effect pedal holds two looper modes for recording and playback of phrases and entire songs ready, whose recording time of up to 240 seconds can be extended via an optionally available SD card.
Despite the extensive sound diversity, the operation of the Line 6 DL4 MkII Delay Modeler is straightforward and intuitive.
Intuitive operation
Despite its enormous sonic versatility, the Line 6 DL4 MkII is characterized by intuitive, "analogue" operation. While the Time and Repeats controls determine the delay time and the number of repeats as usual, the Tweak and Tweez controls allow you to adjust two parameters depending on the selected algorithm. To conveniently adapt Delay-Time to the song speed, Line 6 also equips the guitar pedal with a Tap Tempo function, while the Sub Division function determines the rhythm of the echoes. Once found sounds can also be conveniently saved.
Versatile connections
Last but not least, the DL4 MkII Delay pedal comes with extensive connections that are optimally tailored for stage and studio applications. In addition to the stereo inputs and outputs, a microphone input is available so that singers can also enjoy the first-class delay effects. In addition, the pedal can be easily integrated into complex setups via the MIDI jacks.
