With the HD-28 2018, the renowned traditional manufacturer Martin from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, has given the popular Dreadnought classic from the Standard Series a new look. Accordingly, this redesigned Dreadnought now comes in a vintage look with a tinted top, open vintage tuners, a Faux Tortoise pickguard and a slightly flatter neck profile for a modern and comfortable feel.
In a classic manner, the solid Martin HD-28 2018 comes with a Sitka spruce top and an East Indian rosewood body. Accordingly, this dreadnought resonates with powerful but clearly defined basses, radiant and nuanced mids and fine silvery highs. This revised classic is therefore ideal for a powerful vocal accompaniment with strumming or folding picking.
In addition, the nickel-plated tuners provide tuning stability and precise tuning, while a compensated bone bridge insert ensures clean intonation and a flat string position. In addition, the flat "Modified Low Oval" neck profile provides a modern soft playability and lies smoothly in the hand. The nickel-plated open tuners, an antique white binding, the tinted top and the Faux Tortoise pickguard complete the chic vintage look and last but not least a case is already included.
