The RME M-32 DA Pro is a 32-channel digital-to-analog converter with a multitude of control and routing options. Due to the flexible, multi-redundant signal distribution and the dual power supply it is perfectly suited for critical applications such as live operation at events, large recording sessions oder broadcasting. Of course it also serves its purpose as a professional workstation in any mid-sized studio and offers the clean sound and easy handling you are used to from RME.
Flexible connections
Besides its outstanding technical values, like a signal-to-noise ratio of min. 116dB, the M-32 AD Pro also convinces with its capabilities as a format converter: Incoming line, MADI and AVB signals can be freely distributed to the outgoing MADI and AVB streams. So there is no need to buy a very expensive, separate format converter oder AVB converter, if you start to change your previously MADI-based setup to AVB oder but want to continue using an older converter, eg. from RME oder SSL. Thanks to this connectivity the M-32 DA Pro can be connected to your computer either with a MADI interface oder or an AVB router with point-of-entry. If you use a Mac, it can even be connected directly to the network port.
Flexible Control
Like most professional converters, the M-32 Pro supports different types of control: You can either set it up classically with knob and Display oder feed it with commands via the MIDI port (here a break-out cable is needed), MIDI via MADI, USB oder or even via the network port. Network control works even if the M-32 Pro is not connected to an AVB network.
