SPL 's Elector is a high-end preamplifier for analog purists. The Elector is based on the Director Mk2 and is designed purely for processing analog sources, of which it can record up to 6.
What other connection and control options does the SPL Elector offer?
If you want to work with an analog tape machine or tape deck, SPL has built in a loop-in path with rear tape control (Tape Monitor). In this way, all types of audio equipment can also be looped in via gold-plated RCA connectors. In order to avoid overloading end user devices, the send level can be lowered by 10dB via the pad - the level is then raised again by 10dB at Return. For a separate headphone amplifier, the Elector has a Direct Out, which is independent of the volume control on the front panel.
