Affordable Tele in official Fender design.
With the Squier Bullet Telecaster IL Brown Sunburst, Fender subsidiary Squier offers the popular guitar model in a classic sunburst finish. Built to an authentic Fender recipe, the instrument features a poplar body and bolt-on maple neck in a C-profile for that old-school feel, while two in-house standard single coils in neck and bridge positions produce the full spectrum of the famous Telecaster, from the coveted powerful Tele twang to warm and mellow lead sounds and Chords. furthermore, the Fender Squier Bullet Tele was equipped with solid and tuning stable die-cast tuners and a modern 6-saddle top-load Tele bridge with six individually adjustable string riders.
Built according to a well-known Fender recipe: The Squier Bullet Tele IL Brown Sunburst convinces with official shaping and the typical Telecaster sound.
The C-profile of the quadruple-screwed maple neck promises comfortable playing characteristics in all positions.
Well-known Tele Feeling
To give the Bullet Tele that classic feel and famously crisp tone, Squier follows the time-honored Fender recipe. Accordingly, the electric guitar's poplar body comes in the classic "slab body" Style with rounded edges, while the bolt-on maple neck is quad-bolted for a sound-enhancing connection. The C-profile with 9.5" fingerboard radius and 42 mm nut width also promises comfortable playing characteristics on the Indian Laurel fingerboard.
Squier standard single coils in neck and bridge position provide the typical Telecaster tones at the guitar amplifier.
Typical Telecaster sounds
At the guitar amp, the Bullet Tele naturally delivers the full sound spectrum of the legendary Telecaster. Traditionally wound Squier Standard single coils on neck and bridge not only provide the attacking twang that lets every note whip out of the speaker with enormous assertiveness, but also dynamically responsive overdrive sounds or soulful leads. In addition to the 3-way blade switch for pickup selection, master volume and master tone controls are available for adjusting the tone.
On the headstock in the official Fender design, die-cast tuners ensure the Bullet Tele's accurate and stable tuning.
Modern hardware equipment
Last but not least, modern and reliable attachments complete the Squier Bullet Tele IL Brown Sunburst electric guitar. A practical 6-saddle top-load hardtail serves as the bridge, where the strings are conveniently threaded from the top. Six individual string tabs also ensure precise intonation and string action adjustment. On the traditionally styled headstock, encapsulated standard cast/sealed tun ers also keep the Bullet Tele securely in tune.
The Squire Bullet Telecaster arrived within 4 days so quick turnaround by dv247 (many thanks). It sounds excellent and 'rings' like a tele. The action and intonation are very good out of the box. Perhaps needs top and bottom strings raising very slightly but will wait till it is played in and has settled down before further set up. It is good enough to gig immediately. Who needs to pay a fortune for a straight forward guitar when there are gems like this available. The fingerboard will need to be oiled but this is true of any hardwood fingerboard. The tone control could be a bit more responsive, but that is just splitting hairs as there are many other ways to vary the tone (on the amp and other equalisation). For GBP 135 it's no-brainer an I'm looking forward to having lots of fun playing it.

I wanted a cheap guitar to practice set up, fret polishing etc. and at £135 a Squier Telecaster with a strung-through body is perfect. I expected the frets to be rough, the fret-board to be dry and that is absolutely what I wanted. I would advise that any beginner purchasing this guitar takes it to a decent guitar tech to just do a good set-up, polish up of frets and some lemon oil applied to the fret-board. I have two other telecasters and the Squier feels lighter but that is not a bad thing at all. Love my guitar and will use it as a solid base to add some improvements.
These are simply the best value Telecasters you can buy in my opinion. Out of the box the frets feel a little bit scratchy, but a quick fret polish and some oil on the fretboard made a huge difference to mine and now it plays really nicely. Pickups sound great, finish is great (love the red sparkle), and the guitar is light and comfortable to play. Highly recommended. Service from DV247 was great as always - quick delivery and e-mail updates throughout the order/delivery process. Have used DV247 quite a few times now for internet orders and service has been great every time.

Considering the cost, this guitar is head and shoulders above the competition. It plays okay, (the more discerning owner would consider a professional setup ) and sounds as it should, albeit a little thin, but that reflects the price I guess.
The finish is flawless, the hardware is fine and overall, I would recommend this guitar to any entry or intermediate players.

Bit of a clickbait title, but I genuinely sold my Gibson SG to downsize buy a cheap guitar + a load of other bits and pieces. Do I regret it? Not in the slightest.
Now obviously build quality and sound aren't to the standards of the Gibson, but this cost a fraction of the price and honestly; I've not really lost anything. 15 years ago when I started playing instruments, buying a guitar at this price was a stop gap, and generally had more faults than positives... what has changed in that time!? Squires bottom of the range guitars are infinitely better than any other guitar i have played at the same price point, and this guitar holds up against mid range guitars.
So, bad points? There's a couple of minors. The neck has a single rough spot that was fixed in less than 10 seconds with a fine sand down, but that was it in terms of looks and feel. The frets are perfect, the setup out of the box literally needed a quarter of a clockwise screwdriving to sort the intonation on the low E - I've never had so little to setup on any guitar I've ever owned (Maybe I got lucky, but to think this is possible on such a cheap guitar is magical). The only 'issue' I'd say this guitar has is, the pick ups aren't very hot. They're more than reasonable, especially at the price point, but dont expect to fill out an arena with the sound. Important to point out: this guitar costs about the same as a good set of pick ups... so this actually just makes this a great project guitar as well.
Lovely smooth matt neck, which i'm a huge fan of, tight neck joint, well finished frets and reasonable tuners that are better than yesteryears tuning pegs.
If you're looking for a starter guitar, a project guitar, a guitar for some home studio recording, a back up guitar or something you can chuck about and have a bit of fun with, this is the one.
