The TC-Helicon VoiceLive 2 Vocal/Guitar Processor is an effect stomp box designed for both guitar and vocals. Professional vocal effects such as harmony, doubling, echo, reverb, hard tune and more can be quickly used to apply studio quality processing to your signal, whilst the new VLOOP feature includes undo and unlimited overdubbing functionality for vocals, guitars and effects. The modern design provides a total of 6x effect blocks and an intuitive display with parameter editing options for total control over input signals. The included Harmony effect is able to add up to 4x realistic voices, whose harmonies are controlled via a connected guitar, MIDI or MP3. The sound is impressively realistic and takes your live performance to a new level when used in combination with the other effects. The TC Helicon Voicelive 2 also provides a tone button with EQ, compression, de-essing and gating, as well as an automatic reverb delay ducking to give the voice more lustre. In total the Pedalboard offers 205x factory pre-sets, so there's something for everyone.
In terms of connections, this effect unit offers everything a musician could ask for. The In/Output section provides sockets for microphone, guitar, line, MIDI and pedal signals, while the USB connection is used for system backup and firmware updates, but also for audio streaming.

Simple & Effective Interface
Parameters can be set up quickly and easily - the Tone button automatically gets the most out of your signal so the focus stays on music creation. For example, the Adaptive Gate reduces the mic input in passages where there is no singing to avoid unnecessary noise.
VLOOP Technology
Working with live loops is a popular feature that is now included in VoiceLive 2. Effect, vocal and guitar inputs can be recorded and played back with a single button. This single button offers play, overdub, stop, undo or erase options and allows recording up to 15 seconds in stereo, or 30 seconds in mono.

The box is partially in aluminium, but the menu buttons are in plastic and feels little less sturdy than the feet-pedals. The box does well with regular dynamic and condenser mics, though it can cause some feedback when using a regular studio mic. The price is nice, but you would expect a little more bells and whistles.
It is a very good tool for musicians both for professional use and for beginners. Only that it is not so perfect when it comes to harmonizing some African and native songs. Most African songs are based on 1st, 4th and 5th. Most of the time the are extended to the 2nd, 3rd and 6th.
Increíble, enchufando tu disco a esta pedalera obtienes un sonido de disco, es decir, con esto puedes grabarte a ti mismo perfectamente. Te transporta a otro mundo, literalmente. No tiene nada que ver cantar sin esta pedalera, cuando empiezas a usarla hay un antes y un después. Puedes crear combinaciones hasta aburrir, esto es, puedes hacer mil ediciones con los efectos y los doblajes y todavía te quedarán muchas por descubrir. Viene con un cd y puedes descargarte sonidos y organizar los de dentro de la pedalera. Es la mejor compra que he hecho en tiempo, 100% funcional.
I have taken it because of great harmonizer (no one in my band is ready for singing backs and I really need VoiceLive) but now I realize that there are a lot of other tasty functions that I would like to try and use every time on the stage. You can`t imagine all the potential of VoiceLive. It`s some kind of magic!
VoiceLive is user-friendly, it has intuitively understandable control. You can tune and change more than 200 presets in a moment as you wish, make your own inimitable presets.
It is handy but a little bit heavy as for me.
