Designed specifically for fixed installations, the Tascam MZ-372 offers many routing, mixing and control features for various audio sources in a compact, attractive and intuitive3Uchassis. Whether music, speech, turntables or other sources - the flexible MZ372 is easily controlled via standard faders and controls and simplifies the workflow for any application.
Flexible I/O setup
A total of 19 audio sources can be mixed, muted and routed to two redundant outputs controlled by volume faders and assignment buttons. Input signals can be used via the 6 audio channels, each consisting of two sets with unbalanced RCA stereo pairs and 6 XLR inputs. Together, the setup allows the use of 12 RCA input sets and 6 XLR inputs.
In addition, channels 2, 3 and 4 can be switched to phono level to operate turntables. Last but not least, the XLR input on the front panel is perfectly suited for voiceovers and moderations thanks to a high-quality mic preamp and a ducking circuit.
Multiple Zone Outputs
The two rear output zones provide a combination of balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections to allow easy integration into close to any audio system. This flexibility allows a combination of microphones, CD/DVD/Blue-ray players and instruments to be selected, muted and/or sent simultaneously to the dual outputs with their own volume controls.
