Vintage The design of the Vintage Reissued VJ74BLK Gloss Black is based on the classic electric basses of the 1970s and manufactures the body from alder, which is finished with a noble Gloss Black Finish . With four screws and a neckplate the maple neck is attached, in whose Jatoba fingerboard 20 frets and authentic Dot-Inlays sit. With its well-proportioned "C" profile and the wide fretboard with 38 mm nut size the E-Bass furthermore offers a high playing comfort.

Wilkinson pickups for versatile Vintage sounds
The pickups on the Vintage Reissued VJ74 are two Wilkinson WJB single coils developed by Trevor Wilkinson. Classically designed with four pole piece pairs flanking each string, the pickups deliver a transparent sound with a fast attack. The signals of both pickups can be mixed with each other via individual volume controls, so that a wide range of coherent tones is available for almost any musical style between rock, funk, Blues and pop. This ranges from a rich low end boost when the middle pickup is used alone to the dry assertiveness of the bridge pickup used alone and all levels in between. A treble cutoff is also provided for further tone adjustment.
On the headstock, Wilkinson WJBL200 tuners ensure precise tuning.
Indestructible hardware
The features of the Vintage Reissued JV74 Bass are completed by high-quality hardware. A Wilkinson Standard Bass bridge is used on the body, which ensures perfect intonation and string position with four adjustable tailpieces. From here, the strings with classic long scale length (34" respectively 864 mm) are guided towards the headstock, where Wilkinson WJBL200 tuners ensure precise and robust tuning. furthermore, the 4-string Bass is equipped with a historically inspired tortoise pickguard, which gives it the authentic Vintage look.
