While the ergonomic belly cut on the back allows the slim poplar body to rest comfortably against the body, wide Cutaways and the flat neck foot allow unhindered access to the highest registers of the bolt-on maple neck. With its flat but wide D-profile, it offers the best conditions for easy implementation of classic and modern shredding techniques on the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, in which adequate Sail Fin inlays mark the positions.

As pickup for the VR2000VMX Raider Vintage chooses three powerful Wilkinson pickups in HSH configuration, which also elicit official distorted rock and metal sounds from small guitar amps. In the neck and bridge position, Wilkinson WMSH open-coil humbuckers with powerful hex pole pieces not only provide powerful timbres with rich pushing basses and aggressive assertiveness in the mids, but also surprisingly cultivated clean sounds with enormous sonority. The Wilkinson WVS Single Coil in the middle position, on the other hand, enriches the repertoire of the electric guitar and glassy tones with lively dynamics. In addition to the 5-way blade switch for selecting the pickup, master volume and master tone controls grant the controls over the sound of the VMX Raider guitar.
