The DTX Upgrade Pack from Yamaha consists of the powerful DTX502 sound module and the Triple-Zone Snare-Pad XP100SD. These components can be used to upgrade acoustic drums with additional electronic sounds on the one hand, and to upgrade your outdated e-drum model with fresh technology on the other.
The DTX502 sound module is the heart of the Yamaha DTX502 series: a powerful module with extensive additional functions and all necessary interfaces for professional music production. The internal memory contains 691 sounds from drums and percussion, 50 preset kits cover the whole range of traditional styles like rock, pop and jazz and also contemporary music like dubstep, hip hop or punk. A special feature of the DTX502 module is the possibility to load own WAV samples with max. 12 seconds length into the module to retrieve them with the triggers and pads.
The DTX Upgrade Pack contains the 3-zone pad XP100SD as snare pad. The pad features the Yamaha TCS (Textured Cellular Silicone) playing surface, which has a unique texture that is almost identical to an acoustic set.
