Mr. Phil Ter introduction, feature overview, and noise
Combination module of VCF, VCA and envelope.
The Phil Ter combo module by Cre8audio was developed in cooperation with Pittsburgh Modular and combines filter, VCA and envelope in one. Thanks to normalized connections, the module can be operated with a minimum of patch cables, but the three functions can also be used independently. The 24dB lowpass filter is based on a transistor cascade, which is in concept the classic Moog filter. The VCA is designed for audio signals and is controlled by the internal envelope or an external CV. The envelope is equipped with two CV outputs that generate two different time ranges in parallel (Slow/Fast). Furthermore the envelope has a "hidden" feature: it can quantize to 7 bit and generate sample & hold-like control voltages.
