The Peavey invective.112 Combo is a powerful tube steam machine when hot sounds and uncompromising high-gain tones with plenty of power are required! With three 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes and two EL84 power amp tubes, the combo achieves a total output of 20 watts, while powerful sound processing and handling features are available for intuitive operation. For a rich Output sound, the Peavey invective.112 combo carries a 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speaker that delivers a clean sound. Weighing less than 20 kg, the combo amp is easy to transport and can be reduced from 20 W to 5 W and 1 W for home use, which means that the invective.112 can not only be used on stage or in the rehearsal room, but also works as a quiet practice amp without disturbing neighbors or roommates, for example. Two channels and extensive sound processing

The Peavey invective.112 combo not only provides two channels for clean and lead, but also enables extensive sound processing for both channels with two separate EQ sections. The clean channel comes with a 3-band EQ and a gain control, while the lead channel is also equipped with a 3-band EQ and separate controls for pre- and post-gain. There is also a noise gate for the second channel, the threshold of which can be precisely adjusted using the Gate Treshold control, and artistic breaks can be freed from unwanted high-gain noise hum. For further tonal fine-tuning, there is a master section on the front of the amp where you can adjust the parameters for presence and resonance - the integrated reverb effect can also be set here.

Effects loop, footswitch input and other features

Further practical features can be found on the back of the Peavey invective.112 Combo: there are two separate inputs for the supplied footswitch for Channel/Tight and Verb/BST+Gate, which not only makes it easy to change the channel, but also enables flexible operation of the integrated effects (Reverb and Noise Gate). Thanks to the effects loop, external effects pedals can also be seamlessly integrated. Furthermore, the impedance can be adjusted from 16 ohms to 8 ohms using a toggle switch, while the maximum output of 20 watts can be reduced to 5W or 1W using a switch. This means that the invective.112 combo can easily be used at a moderate volume without having to turn up the volume controls to reach the full potential of the power amplifier.

MSDI XLR Output and Microphone Simulated USB Audio Recording Output

For recording sessions or spontaneous recordings of musical ideas, the Peavey invective.112 Combo offers two options for flexible recording: With the MSDI (Mic Simulated Direct Interface) XLR output, the combo can be picked up directly. There is also a switch for SPKR Enable/Defeat, which allows the speaker to be switched off if required, as well as a ground lift function and a headphone output. For home studios or spontaneous recording on the go, the Microphone Simulated USB Audio Recording Output is also available, allowing the amp to be connected to a PC without a separate interface.
