Solid alder body & Modern Deep "C" neck

To elicit the strongest possible acoustic resonance from the particularly slim body, Fender initially relies on high-quality solid tonewoods. The body is made from solid alder and finished with a Sitka spruce top, which projects an amazingly full and clear sound via the innovative WaterFall Sound Port. The maple neck with its slim Modern Deep "C" profile, on the other hand, provides a modern Tele feel. The ergonomic contour of the neck provides an ideal thumb rest from headstock to neck heel and ensures secure chord playing on the 22-fret maple fingerboard with a modern 12" radius.

Diverse pickup options from Fender and Fishman

In order to fully cover the spectrum from Western to electric guitar, Fender has teamed up with US pickup giant Fishman to use separate systems. The piezo undersaddle transducer picks up the pure string resonance which, in combination with the integrated body sensor , reproduces typical acoustic guitar sounds with astonishing authenticity. An Acoustasonic Shawbucker in the bridge position is available for electrically amplified sounds. The magnetic pickup was specially designed for the Acoustasonic series and offers everything an electric guitarist's heart desires. The systems of the Triplesonic Acoustasonic Telecaster are controlled via common volume and tone controls and a 3-way switch for selecting the different systems.
