Roland QUAD-CAPTURE (UA-55) USB 2.0 Audio Interface

The Roland UA-55 Quad-Capture is a USB audio interface ideal for those wanting a portable and high quality recording unit for use on the go.

The USB-powered Roland UA-55 features two XLR/jack combo inputs with VS preamps, featuring Phantom Power and individual Sensitivity controls, as well as an Auto-Sensitivity option for automatically setting the best input level.

The front of the unit also houses a headphone output with volume control and playback/input mixing control for mixing between playback and the input signal to save having to change the track volume settings on the DAW. There's also a MONO button for monitoring directly from the input signal for zero latency.

There are MIDI input and output connections, two TRS jack outputs and coaxial input and output sockets. Additionally, there are switches for Ground Lift, Phantom Power and turning on Hi-Z impedance for recording instrument inputs.

The UA-55 has built-in graphical Control Panel software, offering great control of the VS preamps. Also included is a copy of Cakewalk Sonar X1 LE for Windows, allowing users to start creating music straight out of the box.
