As a custom model, the B. B. King ES-355 naturally has a classy walnut finish and multiple body bindings that surround both top and f-holes. The basic construction of the B. B. King "Rumble in the Jungle" 1974 ES-355 is completed by a three-strip mahogany neck with authentic Artist profile and 22-fret ebony fingerboard.

T-Type humbucker & VariTone Switch

For authentic sounds of the era, Gibson B. B. King "Rumble in the Jungle" 1974 ES-355 relies on two T-Type Custombucker in neck and bridge position. The two double coilers from the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee are faithful replicas of the coveted T-Top humbuckers used on Gibson instruments in the sixties and seventies and impress with their Alnico V magnets, which give B.B. King's dynamic blues leads a striking expression. and to have the treble perfectly under control at all times, the instrument also offers a VariTone switch with six switching positions for selecting different capacitors.
