The Pocket Operator (PO) series is also very popular. It has the operating charm of a pocket calculator, but thanks to its animated LCD display and individually selected sound generation highlights, it has nevertheless become a hit. Introduced in 2018, the OP-Z is also a groovebox, but confidently takes a different approach and with 16 tracks and 12 different types of synthesis, it offers a good basis for giving free rein to your creativity. Design has always been a priority at Teenage Engineering, nothing seems arbitrary; everything is to the point and fits into the corresponding product range. This applies to accessories, merchandising, the rather independent modular system of the PO range, loudspeaker concepts and even the cooperation with IKEA, which was introduced in 2019. The latter is a freely combinable series for "home clubbing" that includes, among other things, lighting elements and loudspeakers and can be operated on a stand or free-standing.
