Alder body & Quarter Sawn Maple neck
The Fender Postmodern Stratocaster Journeyman in AgedSurf Green impresses with its traditional alder body, which provides a full and resonant sound. The neck of this guitar, on the other hand, is made of first-class Quarter Sawn Maple, known for its high stability and improved resonance. Thanks to its 1959-style 'D' neck profile, it offers optimum playing comfort. The fretboard with its rising compound radius is also made of Quarter Sawn Maple and contributes to the tone and rounds off the overall appearance of this iconic guitar.
Hand-wound Dual-Mag II single coils

Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound Dual-Mag II single coils are used in the neck, middle and bridge positions for clear, powerful sound reproduction. The mid-range pickup has reverse winding and polarity so that the intermediate positions sound without background noise. Thanks to the additional ToneSaver Treble Bleed , high frequencies are retained even at reduced volume.
