With the Ibanez RG550-EB Electric Blue from the Genesis Collection, Ibanez returns to the roots of the RG from 1987. True-to-original shaping and Hardware authentically reproduce the famous Super Strats of the Japanese guitar maker from the late eighties and ensure the unmistakable look and sound of the classic guitar that is still popular today. An ultra-slim 'Super Wizard' neck made of maple and walnut provides the technical basis for shredding at the speed of light, while the combination of V7/V8 humbuckers in the neck and bridge position plus an additional S1 single coil in the middle ensures a diverse sound spectrum with plenty of steam.
