The Maybach Lester Junior '59 Double-Cut (Wine Red Aged) pays tribute to the famous student model of the 1950s. The Double-Cut Lester is composed of a Mahogany body in the authentic shape, a Mahogany neck that is glued in place, and a profile which corresponds to the famous models from the years '57-'59. A P-90 pick-up in the bridge (designed by German recording company Amber) was chosen for its traditional ‘50s vintage voicing. The adjustable and solid wraparound bridge and Kluson mechanics with Relic-Aging correspond to the originals found on retro models.
