The Standalone Suite turns T-RackS 6 Max into a complete, self-contained mixing and mastering workstation, allowing you to load a range of audio tracks and perform multiple operations, a typical approach for top mastering studios. It's got everything from an ever-expanding array of great-sounding processors to the most basic but always necessary waveform editing functions (such as fades and audio file length trimming). Add to that a range of amazingly accurate and smooth, easy on the eye, industry standard professional meters and you have everything you need to complete your work from A to Z in one place.
The plugin suite, on the other hand, allows you to use almost all of the standalone mode features within the environment of your DAW of choice as the most powerful channel strip or mastering chain available as a plugin today. All T-RackS processors (including metering) can also be used as standalone plug-ins in any compatible DAW for multitrack mixing and stereo mastering tasks. From equalizers and compressors to reverbs, delays, harmonic amplifiers and stereo processors - the choice is yours.
T-RackS 6 Max is more sonically powerful than ever. Now supporting projects up to 192kHz / 32-bit, you can master for high-resolution music platforms and distributions without ever leaving its single interface.
There are also four dithering options to choose from, ie. You can optimize the dithering noise when reducing the bit depth of your tracks to match the actual content of the song.
In addition, T-RackS' internal resampling engine has also been enhanced to deliver nothing less than best-in-class performance, including DDM (Digital Delivery Mastering) on the way out of the final limiting stage, which provides additional protection against inter-sample spikes and overshoots that could be generated by MP3, AAC encoding or similar compression and decompression processes.
