The anniversary edition of the Fame Forum IV Modern has a slim body made of Black Limba, which is finished with a solid, breathtakingly grained cloud maple top. Black Limba is an extremely popular tonewood due to its excellent resonance characteristics and warm, mid-range sound qualities, while the solid top contributes to the rich overtone vibration behavior and is guaranteed to attract attention with its vivid cloud grain in combination with a tasteful dark cherry sunburst high-gloss finish.

The neck of the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary guitar is also made from Black Limba and, with its proven D-profile, provides the perfect basis for implementing the most delicate playing techniques on the 24-fret fretboard made from the finest ebony. The slim neck foot and the iconic wide Cutaways of the Forum design ensure ideal accessibility to the highest fretboard positions, allowing the entire range of the instrument to be explored with ease.

For this special model only, Fame has provided two genuine Seymour Duncan humbuckers from US production with a refreshing zebra look. In the bridge position, a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB humbucker goes to work, which is an absolute classic for steaming sounds of blues, rock and metal and shines with high output, well-resolving mids and a good reproduction of the treble spectrum. The Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz on the neck, on the other hand, provides the perfect complement to lend the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary a warm and vocal tone for singing leads and characterful crunch. Both pickups can also be switched to coil-split mode to produce classic single-coil sounds.
Inside the GraphTech Ghost Loaded ResoMax bridge is a piezo pickup system that is able to elicit clear, airy acoustic sounds from the Fame Forum IV Modern 50th Anniversary.

If you want to go beyond the versatile sounds of the two magnetic pickups, you can fall back on a high-quality piezo pickup system that is integrated in the GraphTech Ghost Loaded ResoMax bridge. The push/pull function of the volume control activates the piezo pickup to provide airy, clear sounds that are ideal for transparent and high-resolution Pickings and classic acoustic sounds. The sound of the piezo pickup can be continuously added to the magnetic pickup mix via the rear blend control.
Six high-quality Japanese-made Gotoh tuners ensure absolute tuning stability in all positions thanks to their locking function.

The Fame Forum IV Modern Highgloss 50th Anniversary Dark Cherry Burst is rounded off by six tuners from the Japanese quality manufacturer Gotoh.
