The Jackson Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6QM (Chlorine Burst) is a 6-string Artist Signature Pro Series Electric Guitar, built to a very high standard. Respected Djent pioneer and Guitar player extraordinaire Misha Mansoor of progressive metal band Periphery has teamed up with Jackson to create his own signature Juggernaut, a guitar sure to set any shredder’s tone ablaze.
The Pro Series Signature Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6QM features a Basswood body with an elegant Quilted Maple top and a caramelized bolt-on Maple neck with graphite reinforcement, wrap-around heel and oiled back finish for greater playing comfort. A 20” flat radius caramelized Maple fingerboard featuring rolled edges, 24x jumbo frets and off-set dot inlays will make any riff or lick putty in your hands. Luminous side dots are also included for visibility on even the darkest of stages, while the heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows for convenient neck relief tweaks on the fly.
Mansoor spent considerable time working with Jackson to develop killer-sounding, uncovered direct mount Jackson MM1 pick-ups which can be shaped with a 5-way blade switch, single volume control and single tone control with push/pull select feature.
Available in a head-turning Chlorine Burst finish, matching reverse Jackson 3x3 AT-1 headstock, a Jackson HT6 string-through-body hardtail bridge, Jackson-sealed die-cast locking tuners and Black hardware.

I know that Misha Mansoor doesn't sell his name on products easily, they have to reach his expectations. I was really hyped when I saw these affordable versions of his splendid Jackson signatures and decided to give Jackson a try.
I dig the look of this guitar, simple, yet beautiful. The pickups are overall good for Jackson in-house pickups, but can be easily swapped out for Misha Bareknuckle Juggernauts signature pickups. The guitar plays great and it's a pleasure to pick it up.
Now, why "disappointing" ?
Simply because of the huge amount of Quality Control issues on my model. The photos on every sites show a perfect instrument, but mine was everything but flawless.
:
- It has a poor paint job on the head, with like glue stains
- The pickups are both not straight in their holes (not serious at all for this price)
- The volume know is hard to turn, when the tone know is super loose
- One Luminay side dot seems to have some wood left inside it (how could this even pass the QC ?)
Positive points :
- Good sound for the pickups they put in it
- Stunning look
- Simple and effective work machine
- Luminlays
- Bypass Tone knob
- Locking tuners
Negative points :
- Lots of QC issues (and not the small kind)
I bought three months after an Ibanez RGD Iron Label (same kind of budget) which came absolutely flawless. For a first try, it is incredibly disappointing from Jackson. This instrument could have be great for the price but I just cannot let the QC issues pass.
