Handy semi-acoustic guitar for Blues and rock
The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr Double Cut Bigsby Arctic Blue is a practical semi-acoustic electric guitar with comfortable handling and a wide sound spectrum between Blues and rock. The compact semi-hollow body with solid center block, together with the Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups, promises a warm and woody sound character for characterful clean and overdrive sounds, while the Bigsby Vibrato adds shimmering embellishments. The set Nato neck in a soft "C" profile also promises comfortable playing characteristics right up to the highest registers.
The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner convinces with classic Gretsch style and the first-class sound of the Gretsch Broad'Tron humbuckers.
Semi-hollow guitar with a handy body
The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Jr pays particular attention to comfortable playing characteristics without denying the typical sound characteristics. With its compact dimensions, the semi-acoustic body promises optimum, problem-free handling both on the strap and on the thigh. The classic construction with top, back and sides made of laminated maple and a solid spruce center block also promises a resonant sound that is not prone to feedback even at high volumes. Thanks to the soft "C" profile , which is not too thick, the glued Nato neck offers comfortable playability in all positions of the 22-fret Indian Laurel fingerboard.
Broad'Tron BT-3S pickups with flexible circuitry
Gretsch has chosen two of its own Broad 'Tron BT-3S humbuckers as the pickups for the Streamliner G2655T Center Block Jr Double Cut guitar. The pickups, which are perfectly matched to the semi-hollow construction, promise a surprisingly powerful sound on the guitar amplifier, which skilfully captures the pleasantly woody timbre of the guitar and is suitable for both full clean sounds and juicy, shredding Overdrive. In order to elicit a particularly wide range of timbres from the Broad'Tron pickups, Gretsch has also equipped the electric guitar with a flexible 3-way circuit, which has separate volume controls for each pickup, a master volume and a treble control.
High-quality hardware equipment
Last but not least, Gretsch completes the G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr Double Cut Bigsby Arctic Blue guitar with high-quality hardware that combines traditional looks with unbeatable reliability. The classic Bigsby B-60 Vibrato tailpiece serves as the tailpiece, with which shimmering pitch bends can be created to embellish melodies and chords thanks to its butter-smooth handling. The Gretsch Adjusto-Matic bridge on the body guarantees precise adjustment of intonation and string action. On the headstock, furthermore, Gretsch die-cast tuners ensure precise tuning with high stability.
