Adam Audio D3V White
The ADAM Audio D3V is a fully active desktop monitor system developed for professional users and music lovers who place a high value on sound quality. It combines proven technologies with modern functionality and a compact design.
The system uses 3.5-inch aluminum bass-midrange drivers equipped with a ferrite magnet system. These offer linear sound reproduction, supported by double-sided passive radiators that extend the frequency response down to 45 Hz. The bass-midrange driver is powered by a powerful 80-watt amplifier that delivers pristine sound even at high volumes. This is complemented by the 15-inch D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter), which ensures precise treble reproduction and is based on over 25 years of experience in ribbon tweeter technology from ADAM Audio.
A special feature of the D3V is the USB-C input, which enables direct digital connection to computers and mobile devices without the need for an additional audio interface. This plug-and-play function ensures lossless audio playback without data compression. Balanced 6.35 mm TRS inputs are also available for analog applications.
The acoustic adjustment of the monitor is supported by three DSP switches on the back of the left speaker. These enable adaptation to different room sizes, table sizes and set-up positions to achieve optimum sound results. There is a headphone output on the front and a volume control that also serves as an input source and mute control.
The speakers are supplied with monitor stands that are tilted by 15 degrees to direct the sound radiation optimally towards the listening position. Alternatively, the monitors can be mounted on microphone stands using the standardized 3/8-inch thread on the underside. The housing of the D3V is made of robust polycarbonate and has been designed to minimize unwanted resonances and sound diffraction.
