The PDP Spectrum Shell Set Studio Ultra Violet Stain is a five-piece shell set with hybrid shells made of maple/poplar. The drum shells produce a dry and warm sound with a lot of dynamics. Equipped with Remo heads and free-swinging FTM Tom Mounts, it offers professional equipment for little money. True Pitch tension rods, Teardrop lugs and Resonant Floor Tom Legs provide tuning stability and maximum resonance. The drum kit from PDP is matt lacquered and has Spectrum Badges on every drum, so you get a noble and high-quality look. A matching snare drum is included.
The drums of the PDP Spectrum drum kit are made of maple and poplar. The result is a dry and warm sound with a high bass content that fits any musical style. The factory supplied Remo heads offer excellent tuning characteristics and ideal playing feel. The matt lacquer finish of the PDP Spectrum conveys a valuable optical impression, which is completed by the Spectrum Badges.
PDP is a subsidiary of the American custom manufacturer DW, therefore some high-end features, such as the True Pitch tuning rods, are also used in the Spectrum series. The Resonant Floor Tom Legs allow a free vibration behavior, so the shell can develop its full sound potential. The FTM Tom Mount consists of a flexible rubber buffer attached to the toms.
In the Studio configuration, the PDP Spectrum series comes with 20"x16" bass drum, 10"x8" and 12"x9" tom tom and a 14"x14" floor tom. A high quality snare drum in 14"6,5" with a 10-ply shell is also included. Please note that the shown hardware and cymbals are not included.
