The Guild A-150 Savoy Blonde hollow-body guitar at a glance

The Guild A-150 Savoy Blonde is a genuine jazz box with a classic look and elegant appointments. The hollow-body electric guitar is built in the traditional archtop style and has a solid top which, with the DeArmond floating pickup, promises warm jazz sounds with a wide dynamic range. For the right feel, the guitar also features a strong mahogany neck with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. A harmonious hardware configuration with harp tailpiece, ebony bridge and Grover tuners completes the A-150 Savoy Blonde jazz guitar from Guild.

With a DeArmond Rhythm Chief floating pickup and solid spruce top, the Guild A-150 Savoy Blonde presents itself as a classic jazz guitar.

Traditional hollow-body with solid top

The basis for the vibrant sound of the Guild A-150 Savoy is the traditional hollow-body construction. A solid spruce top on a body made of laminated curly maple ensures a lively sound with a deep bass foundation and silky brilliance in the trebles. The three-piece neck made of mahogany and a narrow center strip made of maple also has a strong "vintage Soft and profile, which provides the authentic Vintage feeling when playing on the 20-fret ebony fingerboard.

Floating pickup

The perfect jazz tone of the A-150 Savoy hollow-body guitar is based on the floating DeArmond 1000 Rhythm Chief pickup in the neck position. With its open, warm sound and sensitive dynamic response, the pickup captures every nuance of guitar playing in detail and skillfully translates articulate chord playing and lead lines. Volume and tone controls placed inconspicuously under the pickguard also allow precise adjustment of the sound.

Traditional hardware

Last but not least, the A-150 Savoy Blonde archtop guitar features harmonious hardware at Vintage-Style. From the stylish harp tailpiece, the strings are guided over a traditional archtop bridge made of ebony, whose compensated string rest promises clean intonation. At the headstock, a bone nut and Grover Sta-Tite Open-Gear tuners ensure that the guitar is precise and stable Tuning.
