The Fender Player Series Stratocaster PF SGM (HSS) is the 2018 standard version of the iconic 6-string electric guitar, one of the most popular instruments from music’s history. Expect the usual crystal-clear high range, well-defined mids and solid bass delivery that give the Stratocaster its incredible versatility.
These Player Series Stratocasters feature a Player Series Alnico 2 Humbucking & 2x Alnico 5 Player Series Strat Single-Coil (HSS) pickups and a 5-position switching blade. A 2-point tremolo bridge with bent-steel saddles and synthetic bone nut ensure tuning stability during play, and the tone vibrates throughout an Alder body with a gloss polyester finish.

Fender Player Stratocaster HSS PF Sage Green MetallicNeeded an additional guitar, already owning a Gibson Explorer 76 - great rock and metal axe. For clean, nice ringing tones, the Fender Strat Player does it job. Some great, fine ringing tones, also in the second position (humbucker+single coil middle position). Also for soloing this guitar rules. Can't compare it to the Explorer of course, total different guitar for half the price, so started to appreciate my old guitar again more ... but ... I'd recommend it ... real value for money... many great tones! And the tremelo is great ... like for Shadows or Ventures stuff ... Happy with my new toy :-)
The guitar was supposed to be used (light signs of use), but I couldn't find anything. So 5 stars.
