Gibraltar 3-Way Mount SC-PM, Adapterarm met 3 opnamen

This 3 way platform is massive...in weight.
It just feels like it can withstand anything, and the brand Gibraltar is known to deliver just that.
A true platform.

Even the pipe feels like no clamp will ever pinch it.
It needs hard clamping with all the weight it's going to carry, and it's build for it.

There is a later model that's got the clamps a little further apart and each one can adjust left to right.
Very slick looking, but it's more than twice the money for an extra adjustment that's easy to bypass.
Because this platform is going to be used with boom arms most of the time, and those already have all the adjustments needed.
Same thing with tom-arms, those are already adjustable by themselves.

So this is less than half the price of the newer model with the same capabilities, minus the extra small adjustment and extra spacing.
I like my gadgets, but only if they're really functional, or slightly more expensive.
33€ vs 70€ is a no-brainer.

It's the same price as a 3-way multiclamp that's in fact 2-way because it needs one clamp to attach itself.

But take note that if you put this platform on a stand with the clamps filled, that stand is going to need to be secured.
(To a rack, or something that can't tip over)

In my case it's going to be clamped straight on a side wing bar.

This platform brings many more options together in a compact space.
