Rode Procaster Broadcast MicrofoonI use 2 of these for my podcast. I first did a lot of research about wich one to get and there were two condenders for me: the Sure SM7B and the Rode Procaster. Eventually I chose the Procaster because the difference between the 2 mics was absolutely tiny and the difference in price was... well about double. So I went for the Procaster!
Why not the Rode Podcaster? Well cause To my ear, the Procaster sounds more professional, and just overal better.
If you are gonna use it for podcast or you just want to best audio out of this mic, make sure you also get the Rode WS-2 Windscreen, it costs next to nothing and your recordings will sound a lot better!
I do recommend it!
This is thé perfect budget alternative for the Shure SM7B. Just buy it already if you're doing Voice-Overs and Podcasts. It would even work on radio setups I think. Imma have to check on that.
