Rycote 15cm Classic-Softie Kit (19/22)

The Rycote Classic-Softie Kit (19/22) is a windshield kit that consists of a Sofite Windshield, a Lyre shock-mount and a Pistol Grip handle. This system provides a simple, robust and cost-effective windshield and shock-mount for modern day ENG and location recording. The Softie is a slip-on open-cell foam windshield with an integral fur cover and reduces wind-noise up to 40 dB. The foam is not susceptible to UV or moisture damage.

The universal Softie Lyre Mount uses the patented Lyre system to provide complete isolation against handling and cable-borne noises. This mount has a soft-feel grip moulded into the clip that securely holds the microphone, preventing slipping or twisting. Supplied with a lightweight Pistol Grip handle, the Softie Kit also comes with a 3-pin XLR gold-plated 40cm Softie Cable.
