Due to its versatility, the Tech21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI has been on most bass pedalboards for over 25 years and is the all-rounder for the stage, Studio and rehearsal room. or in front of your own bass amp, power amp or as a recording device on mixing consoles or interfaces, this capable little box delivers powerful sounds from clear slaps to gain-rich grit sounds and passes them on via an effects output in jack format, XLR or via a jack output connected in parallel to the input.
The SansAmp Bass Driver DI V2 makes the preamp/DI box even more flexible, especially in terms of sound, and now also accommodates the increasingly popular 5- and 6-string basses. The mid control has been added to regulate the mids at two different frequencies (500Hz or 1 kHz), the same applies to the bass range as a low end control (40 Hz or 80 Hz selectable). Last but not least, the Bass driver offers the option of phantom power including a Ground Connect switch.

Tech 21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI 30th Anniversary Limited Edition
I bought this pedal to use it as a DI, plugged in my audio interface. I use it to play with headphones and for recording. The sounds you can get are really good and it's pretty easy to find the tone you're looking for. The frequencies chosen on the pedal are really optimal for a bass player whether you play a 4, 5 or 6 string bass. The only "complain" I could do is the fact that you have to choose between 40/80 hertz and 500/1000, and not both at the same time would have been great. Otherwise, that's a pedal I'll probably use for years
