Like many guitar players, I suffer from "too much gear" syndrome. So one day I decided to take the leap and combine two amps together for a stereo effect. I admit, I had been warned, but I decided to purchase a budget ABY switcher to experiment with. Instant ground loop hum was my reward. But then I decided to spend the extra cash for the Radial Bigshot, and next rehearsal a large grin got stuck on my face. This switcher has everything you need: ground lift, which works perfectly; phase inverter; and isolation transformer. So if you are looking to combine two amps, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID! Buy a decent switcher like the Radial. You'll never look back!
Very good, but you need some time to adjust to your amps and pedals. I've got a setup with a Vox and an old early eighties Fender amp. The Fender has a clean sound, and most of the overdrive (big muff, Ibanez,...) go to the Fender. The Vox is just to give it an extra push when I play solo. It took me some time to get the sound right.
But overal, the right pedal for me...
