"No Coast", of "Zero Coast".
This is a pretty complex machine in the sense that it isn't exactly a plug and play, instant gratification synth. Sure you can get a nice sound out of it right out of the box, but once you get a feel for how the patching works wonderful things can start to happen. Good for hours of fun and a great introduction to modular synthesis.
Adventurous synthesizer with a great sound. Capable of superb bass, FM, piercing leads and insane modular mayhem. More west coast than east but that was exactly what i was looking for. Well-built, it comes with a set of patch cables that are just enough to get started but i would advice you to get at least 5 more. And some stackables for even more craziness.
Always wanted to get a taste of modular synths...it happens with this beast machine...its pre-routed so out of the box bammm....get a few extra patch / stack cabels to get it over the top...easy integration with other stuff...only thing is the menus you have to memorize and count your steps its a little confusing but hey....a great start for some patching. I would recogmend it to anyone who wants to get a taste of it.
This is another type of synthesis. Don't expect the fat saws and squelchy filters, but something new and revealing. Not recommended as your first synth, but should be in first place on your wish list as second!
